Bicycle shed Boom

The city of Boom has always been a vibrant place, steeped in history and dynamism. The ambition with the unique new construction project is to once again create a place of connection and meeting. Not between banks but between people and the beautiful surrounding nature. The project consists of four residential volumes with a total of 97 flats. With a growing number of cyclists and a strong commitment to sustainability, it was time to provide a safe haven for cyclists.

In response to this need, we created a unique flat canopy with curved sides in the shape of an elegant triangle. Our bespoke project not only provides protection from wind and weather, but it also adds an artistic element to the cityscape. The playful combination of functionality and aesthetics is reflected in the thoughtful design of the canopy, which blends perfectly with the atypical implantation in the shape of a four-leaf clover.

As pioneers of architectural innovation, we sought the most durable and high-quality materials to realise this canopy. The result is a masterpiece of craftsmanship that will stand the test of time and adorn Boom for many years to come.
